Here's my finish-a-thon story! I've spent hours tweaking it, and I'm impatient, so I decided I'd go ahead and post it.

Title: How the Winds Are Laughing
Characters: Donna Noble (plus Wilf, Sylvia, Martha Jones, the Doctor, and others who would spoil the plot)
Rating: PG
Spoilers: New Who S4 through to "Journey's End", "Runaway Bride", traces of S3 and Classic Who also.
Summary: Lance is dead, H. C. Clemens is dead, her place of work is closed down. Is this some kind of joke? If it is, it's not funny, and Donna is going to find the person responsible and give them a piece of her mind. (A post-"Journey's End" Donna-fixit story.)

Finish-a-thon 2008 voting is up. It took me less time than I thought because I've been adding the participants to my data-file as they've signed up, and I've improved the script I wrote to generate the polls, so it didn't take much time at all. So I posted it today instead of tomorrow. If the results are early, that's okay, I'm not going to change the submission deadline, it will just give people more time to write.

Anyway, go and vote for what you want me to write!

Okay, I've decided what plot-bunnies I'm putting up for the finish-a-thon; four of the six I was contemplating. I learned from previous ones that it is a very good idea to stick to stories that I have a reasonably good idea what to write for them.

I'm pondering about what bunnies to submit for the finish-a-thon. There are three I'm certain I want to do, and three more that I would like to do, but they aren't quite so compelling.
