Instead of doing all the other things I should have been doing, I went and did another photomanip of Cally and the 9th Doctor! It's called Skyward, and I'm a bit more pleased with this one. And I've spent most of the day on it (arrgh, is it that late?) so I'd better stop!

Enjoy.

ETA: And I challenge any and all of you to write a fic which fits it.

ETA2: [info]lady_smith has written one here, called "Lifted Now Skyward". Whee!

Ooh, it's lovely! I hope it will inspire the next story in the ongoing series, though don't look at me. I'm not sure if I can write the Doctor, but if inspiration strikes I might have a stab...

I hope so.

You're a little behind us on the 9th-Doctor, aren't you? They're showing the 9th episode today, and I'm trepidatious, because I'm going to have to rely on timer record for this one (been invited to dinner), and I don't know whether they tend to run late or early.

Actually I've seen it all because I had DVDs burned and sent to me from the UK. :-) I'm watching all over again as it's shown here though.

I decided I wasn't going to go the BitTorrent route like [info]astrogirl2 did, because (a) it would be a fuss and possibly not very high quality and (b) since there's only 13 episodes, I wanted to savour the experience, instead of gobbling them all up and feeling left wanting.
Doubly fun because [info]aizain has been ringing me up afterwards to have an in-depth natter about the episode we just saw. 8-)

I do miss that, always being behind everyone else. It would have been lovely to discuss it on LJ but I had to avoid all the spoilery posts.

You don't know any NZ fen?
16th-Jul-2005 09:48 am (UTC)
None I see that often. Hmm, I did discuss each B7 ep with a friend when it was on in 2001 but I'm not sure she's into Doctor Who. Must find out.

The versions I got were very high quality, and, once I got caught up, I had to wait a week in between like everybody else. :) It was kind of a pain, though, if only because it was so impossible to predict whether a download would take 4 hours or 14. But, since it doesn't look like we're going to get the series here in the US any time in the foreseeable future... Sigh.

Lovely pic, btw. This is becoming both a written and a visual series, apparently! That's so cool. :)

Yes, you have that to contend with. I'm still intending to get the box-set in November, though.

Thank you!

I think it would be a good idea if all the stories were collected in one spot. I can do it on my site, no problems -- would you object?

I'm still intending to get the box-set in November, though.

I'm intending to get them on DVD at some point, but am currently having a debate with myself as to whether I should wait and see if they come out eventually in R1. I have a region-free player, but I'd really prefer discs I could play anywhere.

I think it would be a good idea if all the stories were collected in one spot.

I was just thinking that might be a good idea, now that the series seems to be growing rapidly. :)

Not at all. You might have to wait to ask [info]redstarrobot about hers, though, as she's currently travelling and may be offline for a while.

Good!

Ah. Can't really have a page without the original story! I've left a note with the original story's post, so hopefully she'll see it when she gets back. Whenever that is.

Well, that will give me more time to whip up the plugin I was wanting to do before I put up the Multi-Fandom Lyric Wheel page.

Very good. :)

I notice that they seem to be looking in two different directions, which anybody who does write a story might want to take into account.

A very big thing in the sky.
16th-Jul-2005 09:44 am (UTC)
Or possibly several small things.
16th-Jul-2005 02:35 pm (UTC)
Or perhaps more than one big thing! (grin)

Very good.

Thank you. (bows)

More of a caption than a fic, inspired by a certain significant event that happened at midnight last night:

Doctor: "No, I don't understand the rules of quidditch either, Cally."

LOL!
16th-Jul-2005 06:34 pm (UTC)
Here

I love these, they're utterly gorgeous, as should be eveidenced by the fact that while there's loads of other stuff I should be writing, I did that instead.

Hope nobody else beat me to it, I'll feel tres silly if I didn't have to write that after all...
16th-Jul-2005 10:26 pm (UTC)
Nobody did beat you, and I wouldn't have minded if they did, anyway. Thank you!
16th-Jul-2005 10:29 pm (UTC)
You're welcome! :D
